We read Farmer Boy by Laura Ingalls Wilder. The book (in my opinion) was horrible. It had no adventure. If you want to know about it you can read my sister's post. I would rate this book a
.My dad said I have to write more so here it is. They're always eating. There is not a single chapter that does not have food. Also CLICK HERE to see my sister's post. At my book club a jockey came and talked to us. That was cool.

If you're looking for adventure you should read the Gregor the Overlander books by Suzanne Collins! 5 books of PURE adventure, and they are so good!
That is so funny, Max - this was one of my favorite books in the series! You're right though - not a lot of action but I after watching the TV show, I was always curious about Almanzo, so I was really interested in his childhood. I also agree with Emily - I LOVE the Gregor the Overlander books.
Since when does a Foley complain about eating.
