"The Nightmare Before Christmas" (Thing 2)
We watched "The Nightmare Before Christmas." It is a claymation musical about a town called Halloween Town. The town is filled with ghosts, ghouls, and all kinds of undead things. Every Halloween they go out and scare people. The king of their town, Jack Skellington, discovers Christmas Town, and wants to become Santa Claus for the year.
I would give this movie

I remember the first time I even thought of watching this movie not being sure how Halloween would mesh with Christmas. It was actually pretty good. Tim Burton always does a good job of making the slightly strange very enjoyable.
I liked reading this review. I have strange memories of the first time I saw this movie (it was a really bad/awkward/boring date in college), but when I heard you watching this morning, the "This is Halloween" song sounded familiar! I'm glad you liked it. Nice review!
